Pop-up ads. Chrome should automatically block pop-ups as a default setting, but you can ensure that the feature is enabled:

  1. Click the Chrome menu in the right corner of your web browser
  2. Select Settings
  3. Show advanced settings
  4. Content settings.
  5. Then check the ‘Do not allow any site to show pop-ups’ box.
