It will take about 40 minutes by taxi to reach the airport which will cost you about 4,500KES or 40€. It is a private rental managed car or bus service which is available to you round the clock.

You have another option in the government run bus service which operates from 6AM to 9PM and it is known as the Line 34. It is the cheapest option as it will cost you only 50KES or 0.45€. Some of the hotels here offer shuttle service to airport and you can book one so they receive you at the airport and take you to the hotel accommodation you have pre-booked.

While a bus takes about 60 minutes and just €0.90 to cover the distance a taxi will do it in 40 minutes but it will charge you €40. This is the price you pay for comfort, luxury, exclusivity, and privacy. And it will also offer other luxury amenities like music, air conditioned comfort, USB ports, and comfortable leather seats. A private car or taxi is available 24 x 7 so you don’t have to wait for transport to arrive according to a fixed schedule.
