What is the role of nutritions in our body

Health & nutrition are two different aspects that correlate with each other. If you want your health to be in top condition, then one of the ways to do it is to consume the required nutrition for your body. Subsequently, some foods can give your body the much-needed nutrition and as a result, it will make you healthier. Many people do know that eating the right food can do wonders to your body, however not many know what are the correct foods to eat. In this article, you will learn about the types of food that are recommended to eat and the nutritional value that they have. Besides, you will also learn about the role of nutrition in our body.

1. Carbohydrate

This is one of the most important nutrients that your body needs. Carbohydrate can usually be taken through foods that can easily make your stomach full such as rice, bread and also cereal. These are the types of foods that are rich in carbohydrates. The importance of carbohydrate is it can provide you with some much needed energy in order to undergo your daily activities. Without carb, your body will be very weak because you do not have the required energy. According to the food pyramid, carbs need to be taken in a lot of quantities. In fact, you need to take it in more than other types of food. You can always refer to the food pyramid if you are not sure about the quantity.

2. Protein

Protein is the next nutrition that is very important for your body. It can be derived from foods such as meat, fish or any other red meat foods. By consuming protein, your body will be able to generate new muscle and cells that are essential for your body process. This is also the reason why most bodybuilders will focus more on protein intake when they are building their muscle. Not just that, protein also is very important in helping to regenerate dead cells and tissues, so make sure you always take protein meat in each of your meals.

3. Fats

There are two types of fats, the high-density lipoprotein fat (HDL) and the low-density lipoprotein fat (LDL). HDL cholesterol is also known as the good cholesterol because it is very essential in helping our body to function while the LDL cholesterol is also known as the bad cholesterol because it is bad for our health. For fats, you need to focus more on HDL-containing foods such as olive oil, sunflower oil, avocado and also oily fishes like tuna. These are foods that are very important in giving you the reserve energy after your main energy runs out.

4. Fruits and vegetables

Fruits and vegetables are two types of food that will give you the important vitamins and nutrients. Both of these are very important in helping to provide the much needed-nutrition for your body. They are also important for your digestion process. Consider taking them in abundance after each meal.

5. Water

This is the most important of all. By drinking water, your body cells will be able to function normally. Besides, it can also smoothen the body process and is used in almost any metabolism in your body. It is recommended to drink around 7 glasses of water everyday in order to get the maximum benefit from it. However, drinking more water than required will do you no harm. So, please get yourself hydrated everyday and do not forget to bring your water bottle especially when you are exercising as your body will lose its water.
